To call Fred Durst’s new movie “The Fanatic” a bomb wouldn’t be fair to previous box office bombs.

The Limp Bizkit frontman’s third directorial effort brought in about $3,000 its opening weekend, according to box office figures. While that averages out to approximately $60 per theater, some outlets reported weekend earnings of as little as $10, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Critics have been just as unkind as moviegoers, with one calling the film a “career low” for star John Travolta. And that says a lot, considering his body of work includes the “Look Who’s Talking” films and the universally-panned “Battlefield Earth.”
