The 2020 NFL Draft is still on for next month, but without a live crowd.

On Monday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced that all public draft events in Las Vegas were cancelled, but the draft itself will still be televised April 23-25.

The league says it’s still working out the details and “exploring innovative options” for how to hold the draft. The new league year is still set to begin as scheduled at 4pm on Wednesday.

Will the draft still make for good television with no live crowd? Could the ratings be even higher considering all the other sports are cancelled?
