Noel Gallagher Loses Scissor Player

For a few years now, Charlotte Marionneau has been part of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, playing the scissors on stage. But as of this week, she’s leaving the band.

The former Oasis guitarist broke the news to fans on Twitter, revealing that Marionneau has quit “for personal reasons”.

“It is with great sadness that NGHFB has to announce that Charlotte Marionneau will be leaving its 2019 world tour for personal reasons. We look forward to welcoming her back as soon as possible… ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase” (NG) pic.twitter.com/1wVNDthgkY

Those upset by her departure can get refunds on their tickets, according to Gallagher’s message.

Noel’s brother, Liam, famously mocked his sibling for having the multi-instrumentalist in the lineup, asking to have a fan peel a potato during one of his own solo gigs. And yes, someone actually followed through.
