Pearl Jam's Matt Cameron Denies Joining Foo Fighters

Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron has denied reports that he is joining the Foo Fighters as a replacement for late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Cameron took to Instagram to clarify the rumors, stating that they are false.

The Foo Fighters announced a North American tour in March 2022, and Cameron performed with the surviving band members during a tribute concert for Hawkins in September.

The band also stated that they will be “a different band going forward” following Hawkins’ death.

Angels & Airwaves drummer, Atom Willard, was another drummer seen rehearsing in preparation for the Foo Fighters tour. Willard has yet to comment on the speculation.
