Rage Against The Machine is leading a mass boycott of concert venues that use ‘spy tech’ like facial recognition software.
The band is among 100 artists signing a pledge not to perform at any venue that uses such technology.
Last year, it was reported that Madison Square Garden used facial recognition tech to identify a lawyer involved in a lawsuit against the company, and kicked her out of the show.
How do you feel about the use of facial recognition technology? Is there any stopping it from becoming commonplace?
