Restaurant Sales Were Nearly Back To Normal Last Month

The pandemic isn’t quite over yet – but the restaurant industry is nearly back to normal.

Restaurant sales went up 36% in March to $61.2 billion – just $1 billion shy of the sales from March of 2019, a year before the pandemic began.

It’s a strong sign for the economy heading into the spring and summer months as more Americans are fully vaccinated.
