Restaurant Sales Were Nearly Back To Normal Last Month

The pandemic isn’t quite over yet – but the restaurant industry is nearly back to normal.

Restaurant sales went up 36% in March to $61.2 billion – just $1 billion shy of the sales from March of 2019, a year before the pandemic began.

It’s a strong sign for the economy heading into the spring and summer months as more Americans are fully vaccinated.

When’s the last time you ate at an indoor restaurant? Can the economy get back to ‘normal’ within a year?
