For the first time ever, scientists have observed light from the far side of a black hole.

These ‘X-ray echoes’, as scientists call them, confirm Eintstein’s theory that light photons can bend around black holes due to their gravitational force.

The prediction is part of Einstein’s famous Theory of General Relativity.
