Shinedown Frontman Says ‘We Must Be Respectful Of Each Other And Our First Responders’

As the economies in some parts of the world and the US begin to re-open from the coronavirus lockdown, Brent Smith wants his fellow Americans to watch out for one another.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday with an old video of fans at a Shinedown concert, the frontman admits, “I want moments like this back just as much as anyone,” but adds a word of caution.

“We must be respectful of not only each other, but also allowing the people that are working 24/7 around the clock to insure [sic] our #safety and our #future. ‘I know we are all #Anxious and we want to get back to living #Life, but I ask all of us to be respectful of each other, and to not be selfish,” Smith writes.

Shinedown had planned to launch their “Deep Dive Tour” this spring, but those dates have now been rescheduled.
