Shinedown’s Zach Myers Not Interested in Grammys

When it comes to Grammys, Shinedown’s Zach Myers is indifferent.

In a recent radio interview, Myers was asked about Shinedown being eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a matter of years.

“Ah, I don’t care,” Myers responded. “It’s the same thing as the Grammys to me. To me, when ‘The Sound Of Madness’ had six Number One songs on one record in the year that it came out, when that hasn’t been done since… I think Adele did it, and it really hasn’t been done since. It hadn’t been done in probably 15 years before that. And it didn’t get nominated for a Grammy. I was like there’s not a physical way I could care less about this.”

“I think people think I’m bluffing when I say this — I couldn’t care less,” Myers continued. “And honestly,  I’d give it to my parents. That thing would never go inside my house. I get a Grammy every night at nine o’clock when I walk onstage and there’s 10 thousand people there.”

Do you think Shinedown will ever win a Grammy? Should they be inducted into the Rock and Roll all of Fame when they are eligible?
