Signed Giannis Antetokounmpo Rookie Card Sells for $1.8M, Sets Record

Move over, LeBron James, a new rookie card has taken the top spot as the most expensive basketball card ever sold!

A mint-condition, signed Giannis Antetokounmpo card just sold for $1.812 million!¬† The card, complete with a piece of the Greek Freak’s rookie jersey, was sold by Goldin Auction.

LeBron James’ rookie card had a brief moment at the top of basketball rookie cards, selling in July for $1.8 million.

TMZ Sports¬†says while both basketball cards are worth an insane amount of cash, neither comes close to MLB’s Mike Trout rookie card; it sold for almost $4 million this year!
