Turns out that Skrillex might actually help save you from being bit by the dreaded mosquito.

A study recently published in the journal Acta Tropica on mosquito feeding and breeding habits found that the insects are less likely to eat or reproduce when the song “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” by Skrillex is playing.

Turns out the song’s deep bass makes it harder for mosquitoes to send or receive signals to one another that they’re in the mood for love.  It also stops mosquitos from munching on hosts like humans.

In other news, my recent in-home study found that my wife is also less likely to eat or reproduce when Skrillex is playing.
