Slayer is following in the long line of bands breaking into the world of signature alcohols. But rather than launch a whiskey or beer, they’ve partnered with Jägermeister.

The band and the beverage have been longtime fans of each other, with Slayer playing Jäger sponsored festivals and guitarist Kerry King appearing in the brand’s TV advertisements.

Once their tour manager, now Jägermeister’s Director Of Innovation & Marketing, Jack Carson has put together a super limited-edition set to honor the metal rockers.

The 1.75-liter bottle comes in an engraved gift box, featuring custom artwork and a message to the band. Only 500 were made.

Which other bands should get on the adult beverage bandwagon? What kind of booze should it be?
