Slipknot’s Clown Has An Amazing Idea For A Live Tour

Slipknot percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan has a wild idea for a future Slipknot tour.

He recently told Kerrang! the band would like to play “smaller venues, with more dates”.

He then laid out this amazing idea: “Wouldn’t it be great if we had seven days in New York City or London or anywhere, at a reasonably sized venue, and played every album in its entirety – with intros, outfits, production and everything from that time period? That could be cool.

Sadly, Clown’s idea isn’t currently in the works – but maybe someday!

In the meantime, Slipknot will headline the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach on Thursday night, then head to Europe for a string of festival gigs in June and July.

What do you think of Clown’s idea?  Ever see a band in concert on two or more consecutive nights?
