Smashing Pumpkins Perform On Disney's 'Magical Holiday Celebration'

Smashing Pumpkins is not a band you associate with Disney or with holiday cheer – but they were repping both on Sunday night.

The band performed “Silver Bells” as part of ABC’s special The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.

It prompted a lot of confusion on social media – one viewer said it was “more evidence that I’m living in a simulation.”

But maybe they shouldn’t be surprised – turns out Billy Corgan is a huge Disney fan AND a huge holiday guy who puts up seven – that’s right, seven – Christmas trees in his house .
