‘Sonic’ Movie Sequel Filming Next Year

Despite a rough start in the early production, the live-action/CGI Sonic the Hedgehog film ended up becoming a huge success when it hit theaters in February.
Now fans of the video game character can expect a sequel to the film, which is expected in 2022.
Codenamed “Emerald Hill” after the first level in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the film is shooting for filming between March and May of 2021.
The first Sonic the Hedgehog film ended up grossing over $200 million and becoming a huge success for Paramount Pictures.
