“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” Has Record-Breaking Opening Weekend

“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” has set a new record at the box office!

Bringing in $71 million domestically, the sequel to the 2020 film had the best opening weekend of any video game movie ever.

Before that, the first “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie held that record with an opening of $57 million.

Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures has confirmed that a third “Sonic” movie will be happening.
