President Donald Trump was joined by Vice President Mike Pence and other officials at the podium today announcing the latest moves in the fight against COVID-19.

There will be no standardized testing and you won’t have to make your student loan payments as the United States deals with COVID-19.

California and New York states have almost entirely locked down – ordering non-essential workers to stay home. Trump says he won’t make a similar national order – instead leaving it up to individual states – referencing Midwest states that aren’t dealing with the same situations.

Activation of the Defense Production Act means private businesses may be ordered to shift production to items like protective masks.
