Target Will Continue to Close its Stores on Thanksgiving Going Forward

Last year, due to the pandemic, Target announced that it would keep their stores closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Now, the company has announced that moving forward, they will continue to keep their stores closed on Thanksgiving.

In a note to employees, Target CEO Brian Cornell wrote, “What started as a temporary measure driven by the pandemic is now our new standard — one that recognizes our ability to deliver on our guests’ holiday wishes both within and well beyond store hours.”
