Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen says she was hit hard by the death of Chris Cornell.

Momsen’s band was on tour with Soundgarden when Cornell died by suicide in 2017.  She told Interview magazine she had to cancel the rest of the tour because she “couldn’t get on stage every night and be OK”.

Shortly after, Momsen’s producer and close friend Kato was killed in a motorcycle accident – causing her to spiral into depression and substance abuse.

Momsen says the most recent Pretty Reckless album, Death by Rock and Roll, is “an homage to those loved and lost”.
