The 1975 have canceled two more shows after getting shut down in Malaysia over a same-sex kiss.

In a statement, the band said it was canceling shows in Jakarta, Indonesia and Taipei, Taiwan, writing “unfortunately, due to current circumstances, it is impossible to proceed with the scheduled shows.”

On Friday, the band was shut down after lead singer Matt Healy kissed bandmate Ross MacDonald on stage at the Good Vibes Festival in Malaysia – where homosexuality is illegal.  Malaysian authorities ended up canceling the remaining two days of the festival as well.

Why cancel shows in other countries?  Should other artists boycott Malaysia over its laws on homosexuality?
