The 1975’s Matty Healy Takes Jab At Malaysia During Lollapalooza Set

The 1975 frontman Matty Healy took a brief jab at Malaysia during the band’s set at Lollapalooza.

Healy told fans “You want my travel tip?  Don’t go to…” before the band cut him off by playing “It’s Not Living If It’s Not With You”.

While he didn’t mention the country by name, Healy was referencing his recent issues in Malaysia, where an entire music festival was shut down following his on-stage kiss with bandmate Ross MacDonald – which broke the country’s strick anti-homosexuality laws.

How do you feel about artists performing in countries with anti-LGBT laws?
