The Great Mystery: The Smashing Pumpkins Have 5 Countdowns Running On Website

There’s a great mystery brewing about The Smashing Pumpkins. The band has launched a collection of countdown clocks on their website.
The caption says “Follow the countdown” to dates including Friday, August 28; Friday, September 18; Friday, October 9; Thursday, October 30; and Friday, November 20.
The band is offering up no other clues to the countdowns.
But, back in February, frontman Billy Corgan revealed they were working on a double-album.
Could the countdowns be tied to an album release? New songs maybe? New Tour?
