The Killers Song That Rips Off David Bowie

David Bowie was an influence on countless artists, including The Killers – sometimes more than an influence, actually.
Killers frontman Brandon Flowers once admitted in a 2013 interview that the bassline from “All These Things That I’ve Done” was a straight rip-off from the Bowie song “Slow Burn”.
He said at the time he was “just trying to be Lou Reed funneled through the Las Vegas Strip.”
The track appears on their multiplatinum debut album, Hot Fuss.
The Killers have shown off their Bowie influence in other ways, once covering “Fame” in 2017.
