This week marks the 27th anniversary of the final concert Kurt Cobain ever played with Nirvana.
On March 1st, 1994, Nirvana played the Terminal Einz club in Munich. The next day, Cobain cancelled the rest of the tour, deciding he wanted to quit the band. A month later, he would take his own life at his home in Seattle.
The last song Nirvana played at that show was “Heart Shaped Box”. Audio from the gig has recently surfaced on YouTube.
How would rock history be different if Cobain hadn’t died? Did you get to see Nirvana when they were still around?
