Dave Grohl is one of the greatest rock frontmen of all time – but rarely got the spotlight to himself during his time in Nirvana.

Only one song in the entire Nirvana catalog features Grohl on lead vocals – “Marigold”, a B-side included on the “Heart-Shaped Box” single.

Grohl wrote the song himself, and even released it in 1992 under the pseudonym, Late!.  He would later re-record it during the sessions for Nirvana’s final album In Utero.

Dave occasionally busts out the song at Foo Fighters shows, and included it on the band’s 2006 live album Skin & Bones.

What are some other great songs that aren’t sung by the band’s typical lead singer?
