TikTok Might Be Starting Its Own Music Platform, ‘TikTok Music’

TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, filed a trademark application for TikTok Music.
They also filed the same application in Australia for the same name.
In the filing it states, users would be able to share, create and suggest playlists among other interactions related to music on the app.
No launch dates have been given.
