Dating in 2020 has certainly looked different. Tinder, one of the most popular dating apps, just blogged their year in review, revealing ten “only in 2020” dating trends.

1.) Support for “Black Lives Matter” became a must have.

2.) Pandemic pick-up lines were all over Tinder.

3.) TikTok and Tinder became best friends.

4.) Masks were essential.

5.) Lots of Carole Baskin.

6.) Profiles promoting people to vote.

7.) Even Animal Crossing had people 6 feet apart.

8.) Most popular emoji used was the shrug emoji.

9.) WAP was the #1 anthem.

10.) Tinder’s passport feature grew.
