Tobias Forge Wanted Ghost to be What “Metallica Was in the ’80s”

Metallica’s presence in the ’80s has had a current impact on Ghost frontman, Tobias Forge.

Talking to AL.com, the Ghost frontman says that he would like to be able to do the type of shows Metallica did in the 1980s.

“…yeah, I want to be what Metallica was in the’ 80s, on the …And Justice For All tour,” Forge shared. “That sort of band or like Powerslave with Iron Maiden. That sort of f***ing theater and playing arenas.”

While Forge goes on to say that he grew up with weird metal, he also acknowledged: “I also have a huge alignment and childhood love with big-ass arena rock.”
