Twitch Shutting Down Its Desktop App Next Month

Twitch recently announced that the streaming platform will shut down the desktop app by April.
Computer users will be able to access Twitch on users’ computers through the Twitch.tv website starting April 30th.
The company said, “This move allows us to invest more heavily in enhancing and adding new ways to engage with the creators and communities you care about.”
The statement continued, “If you’re used to using the Twitch Desktop App, we recommend bookmarking Twitch.tv in your browser of choice for easy access.”
