U.S. Raises Legal Age to Buy Cigarettes, Vapes to 21

President Trump signed a bill into law that now raises the legal age to buy cigarettes and vapes in the U.S. from 18 to 21.
The law means that the FDA has six months to develop regulations and three years to implement the change.
The bill was met with bipartisan support and surprising support from the makers of Marlboro cigarettes and Juul vaping devices.
Critics suspect that both of the cigarette and vaping companies are showing such huge support to head off other regulations from the government, like banning flavored tobacco and vaping products.
Health officials call vaping a “health epidemic” as more than one in four high school students reporting vaping. Do you support raising the legal age to buy cigarettes and vapes from 18 to 21?
