Towson University President, Kim Schatzel, will be the next president of the University of Louisville.
The university’s Board of Trustees announced in a press conference Wednesday morning.
UofL had been looking for a new president since the resignation of Dr. Neeli Bendapudi nearly a year ago to take over the top position at Penn State University. UofL’s interim president, Lori Stewart Gonzalez, is expected to return to her prior post as provost once the new president is in place.
