Unreleased Add-On Would Have Let You Access The Internet On A Game Boy Color

A never-released accessory for the Game Boy Color would have turned the device into an early version of a smartphone.

The device, called the ‘Page Boy’, would have let users browse the internet, check email, and even send selfies taken with the Game Boy camera.

It would even have had its own custom search engine called ‘Ask Mario’

Unfortunately, the Page Boy never came to be – though it was clearly ahead of its time.
