Know someone who purchased a pallet of toilet paper or went on spring break despite the advice to help flatten the curve? The Urban Dictionary has a new word to describe those actions.

Entered last week, the site now calls anyone who stockpiled supplies or ignored warnings from public health officials a “Covidiot”.

Need to use it in a sentence? Try out: “Did you see that covidiot with 300 rolls of toilet paper in his basket?” or “That covidiot is hugging everyone she sees.”

The term seems to be catching on, receiving over 1,200 upvotes since the March 16 posting.

What’s the most covidiotic thing you’ve seen in the past few weeks?
