Volbeat’s Michael Poulsen to Undergo Throat Operation

Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen has revealed that he will be undergoing surgery soon.
During a recent interview with Metal Radio, Poulsen had to stop talking to cough.
“…excuse me. I’m struggling with with my voice,” Poulsen said. “I have to get an operation in October.”
Poulsen also shared that the Volbeat is taking a planned break from touring, but would be working on a new album soon.
Poulsen had previously had throat surgery in 2021, having a polyp removed.
