Weekend Box Office: Indiana Jones Comes in Low (But On Top)

Indiana Jones is back on top at the box office – though it wasn’t the triumphant return Disney was hoping for.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny took the #1 spot with $60 million – a disappointing debut considering the movie cost $295 million to make.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse finished second with $11.6 million, followed by Pixar’s Elemental at #3 with $11.3 million.

No Hard Feelings ($7.5 million) and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts ($7 million) rounded out the top five.
