Weezer Announces 30th Anniversary Edition Of ‘Blue Album’

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Weezer’s self-titled debut, which is also known as “The Blue Album.”

And the band’s celebrating by dropping a special expansive reissue of the release.

Weezer: The Super Deluxe Edition, which the band calls “the most comprehensive vision of The Blue Album ever created,” will feature remastered versions of every song on the album plus a whopping 36 never-before-heard tracks. Among them is the earliest known recording of “The Sweater Song,” according to the band.

Weezer: The Super Deluxe Edition is due on November 1st.
