WhistlePig Turns 21

Vermont-based distillery WhistlePig is launching a 21-year-old whiskey, called The Béhôlden.

Only eighteen barrels of the limited-edition whiskey were produced.

It was aged for 21 years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels and given a four-week-long finish in WhistlePig rye barrels.

It clocks in at 46% ABV, and is said to deliver maple spice, smoky and dried fruit notes.

It’ll cost you though as it retails for $799.99 per 750ml bottle.

What’s the most expensive liquor you ever tried?
