The White Stripes have shared a video of one of the band’s early performances on Detroit public access TV.

The segment, recorded on May 28, 2000, sees the duo perform “Apple Blossom” and “Death Letter” on a local show called Backstage Pass.

The White Stripes have been releasing archival footage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their De Stijl album.

Whatever happened to public access TV? Was it the YouTube of its day?
