In a world where everybody is on social media, including our parents, one rocker is bucking the trend.

If fans go looking to follow Dave Grohl on the various platforms, the Foo Fighters frontman is nowhere to be found.

Speaking on a recent episode of the “Good For You Podcast With Whitney Cummings,” Grohl explains his lack of presence.

Admitting he sees some good in using social media, Grohl adds, “But I don’t necessarily feel the need to tell everyone when I’m taking a sh*t or whatever. But I get it — I understand why people would. But it’s not really my thing.”

Have you cut back on your social media usage? Why?
