We all know McDonald’s ice cream machines are always broken.

And now the creators of an ice cream maintenance device is suing McDonald’s for $900 million.

The company, Kytch, created a device to fix their ice cream machines and saw success. But they claim that the fast-food restaurant stole their technology to reverse engineer it and create their own competing product.

McDonald’s, however, is saying that the company’s machines had very serious safety risk for the crew or technician attempting to clean or repair the machine”.”

McD’s said in a statement, ” [We] owe it to our customers, crew and franchisees to maintain our rigorous safety standards and work with fully vetted suppliers in that pursuit.”

Who do you think is in the wrong? When is the last time you saw a working McDonald’s ice cream machine?
