You Can Expect Busy Roads And Airports For July 4th Holiday Travel

More than 47 million Americans are expected to drive or fly somewhere over the 4th of July holiday, according to a new report from AAA.

Officials say that travel volume is pretty much a full recovery to pre-pandemic levels.

AAA predicts road trips will be the dominant means of travel.

Despite the highest gas prices in seven years, about 91% of holiday travel is expected to be by car (approximately 44 million) compared to about 3.5 million who plan to fly around the 4th of July.

Are you going somewhere for the 4th? Are you jumping back into a tradition that was cancelled last summer? Or just brand new plans?
