Zoom is helping to make that happen by lifting its 40-minute restriction on free video chats for Thanksgiving Day in a bid to make it easier for families and friends to connect.
Their standard free Basic plan allows for 40 minute calls, then you can disconnect and start a new one.

Google Meet requires that users restart calls after 60 minutes, and most providers charge for removing these restrictions. The no-limits Thanksgiving Day offer is a special case for the company’s #ZoomTogether initiative as a “thank you” to customers.
The removal is temporary and only available from midnight ET on Nov. 26 to 6 a.m. ET on Nov. 27.
