Airbnb House Party Crackdown Now Bans Certain Renters Under 25

Airbnb is cracking down on house parties.

The have implemented a ban on people in the U.S. 25 years and younger who have poor reviews.

Under the new rules, prospective U.S. guests younger than 25 and with fewer than three positive Airbnb host reviews can not book a whole home close to where they live. They can still book any type of property-vacation rentals, apartments or hotels outside their local area.

Guests younger than 25 who have three positive reviews and no negatives can still book entire homes in their local areas.

The change in policy is due to house party related deaths in California last Halloween.
