Bud Light No Longer America’s Top Selling Beer

It’s been a rocky year for Bud Light.
The long-time favorite of beer drinkers is reportedly no longer the top-selling beer in America – at least for the month of May.
According to data acquired by Newsweek, Modelo Especial is now the “number one” selling beer in America, bringing in $333 million for the month of May.
Bud Light, meanwhile, sold $297 million for the month. This marks the end of a 22-year streak for Bud Light.
The newly released numbers come after several public boycotts of Bud Light for its support of transgender influencer, Dylan Mulvaney.
