‘Call Of Duty: Vanguard’ Loses 56M Players

Once, when asked for his opinion on a restaurant, Yogi Berra said, “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.” The same might be said about the popular Call of Duty franchise.

Activision has revealed the game’s number of active players has dropped from 150 million to 94 million since March 2021.

Judging by sales numbers, it looks like the problem could be the latest installment in the Call of Duty series, Vanguard. In June 2021, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was the second-best selling game in the world. In June 2022, Call of Duty: Vanguard didn’t even make the best-seller list.

What about Vanguard has prompted 56 million players to bail on the game?
