There won’t be a long drawn-out court battle between Chester Bennington’s widow and his ex-wife over the late singer’s estate.

According to TMZ, Talinda Bennington has agreed to give half of his portion of Linkin Park’s royalties to Samantha, who he was married to from 1996 until 2005.

Included in the deal is a share of the non-touring merchandise, publishing rights and a share of the master sound records, says the report.

It seems Bennington would have wanted things to go this way, writing in his will that he wanted all of his children “to visit with one another and with my extended family and the extended family of my spouse on a regular and ongoing basis, so that my children know that they have a large and loving family.”
