Chris Cornell Estate Reaches Settlement With Surviving Members Of Soundgarden

The estate of Chris Cornell and the surviving members of Soundgarden have settled a lawsuit over Cornell’s final recordings.

In a statement, both sides said they had reached an “amicable” resolution that “will allow Soundgarden fans around the world to hear the final songs that the band and Chris were working on.”

The case centered around demos that Cornell had recorded before his death in May of 2017.

No timetable for the release of those songs has been announced.
