Coldplay hasn’t released a record in four years and they’ve been pretty quiet since wrapping up touring two years ago. But that’s reportedly about to change.

According to the UK’s Daily Star, Chris Martin and company will drop two new albums, with the first to come at the end of next month.

A band insider claims that November’s LP will be a bit more experimental in sound while something more mainstream would come out in 2020. With the release of that second album, the band will then hit the road.

Mat Whitecross, the director of Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams movie, reveals the band’s new material would “surprise” everyone.

What do you think the band is cooking up? How do you feel about so-called insider reports?
