Copy Of ‘Marvel Comics No. 1’ Sells For $1.26 Million

A copy of the first-ever Marvel comic book just sold for a whopping $1.26 million.
A rare near-mint copy of Marvel Comics No. 1 was auctioned off in Dallas this week to a buyer who wished to remain anonymous.
The book was published in 1939 and featured the first appearance of characters like the Human Torch and Sub-Mariner. According to Heritage
Auctions, this issue was originally purchased in Uniontown, Pennsylvania by a comic-collecting mailman.
