EA Delays ‘Madden NFL 21’ Reveal Due To Protests

EA has decided that now is not the time to unveil the latest Madden NFL installment.

The company had planned a big reveal event scheduled for Tuesday, but is postponing it due to the ongoing George Floyd protests.

In a statement posted to Twitter, EA said “We’ll find another time to talk football with you”.

Instead, its current focus was on ways to “drive change” against “the unjust treatment and systemic bias that is plaguing the nation and our world”.

Is EA making the right call here? Will other companies follow suit and put off their promotional plans for another week?
